New Feature: COVID-19 Screening Form
Important note: This feature is being released gradually to our users. If you are seeing this message, we have enabled the feature for your property. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you do not wish to have this enabled or if you would like to share feedback!
We are excited to launch another new feature in our suite of COVID-solutions to help you meet new requirements – a COVID-19 screening questionnaire to document the status of your visitors, contractors, and even staff members, all in one convenient place.
Protocols are changing regarding admitting visitors/contractors to your properties, and we want to help you operate as smoothly as possible while still meeting your local guidelines and recommendations for conducting visitor entry screenings. That’s why we haven’t changed the core process of recording visitor entry at all!
Your staff will still use the Event Log to record people entering the building, and now they will be able to open a COVID-19 Screening form without leaving the page – they can ask, or show, the questions to a visitor and then input the responses, which will be stored in the system for management to access any time, in case you need to pull a record of who visited the building, where they went, and when.
You can read more on how to use this feature here. Please contact us at support@buildinglink.com or call 212-501-7117 ex. 0 to see alternate screenings, request new forms, or provide feedback!

New Feature: Contactless Package Pickup
Announcing Contactless Package Pickup, a new feature being released on Thursday, 6/11!
You’ve spoken, the world has spoken, and we have listened. In the current era of COVID-19, where minimizing contact and increasing social distance is a necessity, we understand that the last thing you want to do is have residents lining up at the desk to retrieve their packages and then sign for them on a communal signature pad. While many properties have simply opted not to require signatures, or to take photos of residents picking up items, neither one of these methods is fool-proof or as secure as can be, since the resident is not actively acknowledging what they are receiving.
Enter our new solution…Contactless Package Pickup! This new feature allows residents to open their BuildingLink Resident App and tap on the deliveries they wish to accept and pick up. Staff will see this authorization when they click on packages to close them out. This tool is designed as an alternative to obtaining signatures and/or photos when closing events. We have enabled this as an optional method of closing Events for all of your Event Types which currently have a signature selected. Please note that contactless pickup is not required by default, so if you wish to make this method required in place of your signature setting, please see our help site for information on adjusting your settings accordingly, or contact us.
If you wish to inform your residents of this new tool and start using Contactless Package Pickup, we’ve made your life easier by adding an email template into the BuildingLink Suggested Templates section in your Send Email module. You can use this template, and adjust it in any way you please.
Please reach out to us with any questions or concerns regarding this new feature! You can email support@buildinglink.com or call 877-501-7117 ext. 0.

Reservations and Sending Email – Now Available on GEO!
We’re happy to announce the addition of some of the most valuable elements of the Send Email and Reservations modules to the GEO app, allowing you to easily access essential functions right at your fingertips! (Please note, these features are only available on the app to those users who have them available on the website.)
Click Send Email on your GEO home screen to quickly and easily compose an email to send to your entire property, whether there is an emergency water shut down, after hours alert, or simply because it’s not convenient to sit down at your computer. The email will send from the address you regularly send from in BuildingLink, and you will be able to view it in your BuildingLink mailbox.
The Amenity Reservations icon will allow you to view all reservations for today and tomorrow to help you effectively manage space usage, know when facilities are available or booked, and ensure the correct residents are using amenities at any given time.
We’re excited to continue making the GEO app more powerful for you!

4) “Save as a Draft” (Coming June 1st) - Next time something pressing draws you away before you can hit "send," simply save it as a draft, and come back to it later.
5) Mailbox redesign - The new "send email” screen now features a super-intuitive, Outlook-like design, organizing all the information and powerful functionality you need on a set of logical panels. Now you can work your way through your daily communications tasks, leveraging an interface and visual style that is familiar, makes sense, looks great, and is easy to use:
That's a birds-eye view of our turbocharged "Send Email" functionality. For more info, go here, or just click around to start filtering, designing, composing, saving, and sending!
